Love Island 2020 is drawing to a close with the winners of winter Love Island soon to be crowned.
Tonight’s episode isn’t short of emotion, having opened with a poignant tribute to Caroline Flack, which featured her stunning style choices (including that blue dress), as well as a compilation of some of her best slow-mo entrances.
Emotions continued to run high, as the islanders recited their final speeches to one another.
While Finley Tapp and Paige Turley confessed their love to one another it was Luke Trotman’s speech that really got us with the line: ‘I know Luton to Bristol is far, but for you, I would definitely move.’
He was, of course, referring to the distance between him and his beau, Siannise Fudge.
So, how far is Luton from Bristol and what football team does Luke T play for again?
How far is Luton from Bristol and what football club does Luke T play for?
According to Google, Luton and Bristol are around 132 miles apart, which is just over 2 hours’ drive away from one another.
Which if you ask us, is totally doable.
While Luke was born in Luton and started his football career with Luton Town, he currently plays for Darlington FC.
When Luke T entered the villa, the club released a statement where they voiced their support for the semi-professional footballer.
‘Darlington defender Luke Trotman has been invited to appear on ITV2 series Love Island,’ their post began.
‘Player of the season in 2018-19 Luke, who is sidelined with an Achilles tendon injury for the rest of this season, has the full backing and full support of the club.’
Luke has been out of action after rupturing his Achilles tendon in August 2019.
Love Island continues tonight from 9pm on ITV2
