Myleene Klass is apparently being ‘eyed’ by Strictly Come Dancing bosses for a contestant in the 2020 series.
Myleene rose to fame as a member of pop group Hear’say, who topped the charts with their debut single Pure And Simple.
Since then, she’s branched out to presenting roles and became a household name thanks to her stint on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
According to the Daily Star, bosses are hoping that the classically-trained musician will bring some ‘glamour’ to proceedings, as well as former Spice Girls manager Nicki Chapman.
‘Strictly want both to be in the line-up. They are household names and haven’t really worked together since Popstars so it would be an amazing reunion,’ a source told the publication.
Both Chapman and Klass appeared in the first series of Popstars, where Hear’Say were formed, with Chapman forming part of the judging panel alongside Nigel Lythgoe and Paul Adam.
It was previously reported that Jonathan Ross’ wife Hollywood producer Jane Goldman is also in talks to sign up for the 2020 series.
Goldman has a remarkable track record as a screenwriter, writing the screenplays for blockbusters such as Stardust, X-Men: First Class and Kingsmen.
Apparently, bosses are also looking to make major changes due to the coronavirus lockdown – such as scrapping the annual trek to Blackpool.
Say it isn’t so!
